Each year, approximately 35,000 people visit Montreat Conference Center to reunite with family and friends, to attend conferences or church retreats, and to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of God’s creation. BEYOND SUMMER…
What happens when summer ends at Montreat Conference Center? The fall season begins! Along with cooler weather and the changing leaves, fall brings us its own special events, activities, and opportunities to enjoy.
Much of the recreation offered by the conference center during the summer continues year-round. Play tennis, volleyball, and softball, take the children to Robert Lake Park, or go fishing in Lake Susan. The hiking trails that wander through Montreat’s 2,500 acres of protected wilderness are breathtaking in every season and the Montreat Trail Club schedules exciting outings throughout the year.

Fall is also a great time to plan a church retreat. A limited number of prime dates are still available, or ask about special fall rates and dates at Assembly Inn. In addition, the popular Room at the Inn Thanksgiving special is available again this year.
