“Being Spiritual in a Hectic and Hurting World”

For all on the challenging journey of growing closer to their Creator.

How does one slow down and experience the presence of God? What are some everyday spiritual practices that can enliven and nurture our walk with Christ? Come and spend a weekend away in God’s beautiful creation while exploring time honored spiritual disciplines such as lectio divina, the examin, guided mediation, and the inspiring music of Taize and Iona. There will be small group encounters, meditative worship, and personal time for reflection, prayer and holy rest.

Program Fee

  • On or before September 11: $95
  • After September 11: $120

Scholarships are available for this conference.

Cost for Housing and Meals

Rates are per person and include all room and meal charges for the entire conference (Friday supper-Sunday lunch). No adjustments to package will be made except for extended stay. Meals for children ages 5-11: $29; under 5: no charge. No room charge for children under 12 in the same room with parent(s).

Conference begins Friday, October 23, with registration 3:30-5 PM, Assembly Inn Lobby. Conference ends Sunday, October 25, with morning activities.

Cancellation Policy

Cancellations must be received by September 11 in order to receive a full refund less a $25 service charge. Cancellations received after September 11, but on or before October 16, will receive a 50% refund of the conference fee and payments made toward room and meals charges (if applicable), less $40. No refunds will be issued after October 16. All requests must be in writing and received via email, fax, or U.S. mail.
