2011 Interim Executive Training
September 16-20, 2011

For those who are already in an interim executive / general / associate presbyter or synod position, who are scheduled to begin service in one of these positions, or who have been recommended by their governing body as having particular gifts in these areas with a recommendation from their COM and their immediate executive / general presbyter or synod executive / associate. Learning goals include the study of multiple layers of organizational system complexity, multiple cultures within an organizational system, governing body infrastructure, and application of the interim process and developmental tasks to governing bodies.
Enrollment is strictly limited to participants who have completed at least 30 hours of basic interim education prior to the beginning of interim executive training and who have registered to complete the entire 60 hours of basic interim training.
Key Leaders

- Tim Jones, Delaware, OH; Tim is a former interim executive presbyter in two presbyteries; an associate in one presbytery; and an interim pastor in one conflicted congregation; He teaches Weeks I & II at Austin Presbyterian Theological Seminary and Executive Track at the Synod of Mid America/Lincoln Trails and Montreat. He is presently serving as a transition consultant with the Synod of Lincoln Trails and the Presbytery of Scioto Valley.

- Bob Anderson, Indianapolis, IN; Bob is interim executive presbyter for Whitewater Valley Presbytery; an interim minister since 1987 and teacher in the interim education program at Montreat, Pittsburgh and Zephyr Point.

- Sally Hinchman, Harrisonburg, VA; Sally is the Interim General Presbyter/Stated Clerk for the Presbytery of Shenandoah. She previously served as the General Presbyter for the Presbyteries of Nevada, Sacramento, and Stockton. Sally has taught Interim Ministry Education at the Zephyr Point Presbyterian Conference Center for 10 years. She is a Certified Christian Education and an elder.

Comprehensive Rates
Comprehensive rates below include discounted conference fee of $275, room in Assembly Inn or Winsborough, meals in the Galax Dining Room (Friday supper through Tuesday lunch), plus a $4 community services fee per person. Rooms are assigned on a first come, first served basis. Some rooms have private baths, and some rooms have connecting baths. After August 5, 2011, these rates will increase by $25 per person.

Commuter Rate

Refund Policy
Registrations and housing cancellations must be received by August 5 in order to receive a refund. The $100 deposit is completely non-refundable. All requests must be in writing and received via email, fax or US mail. Cancellations received by August 5 will receive a refund of all funds paid, minus the $100 deposit. Cancellations received between August 5 and September 2 will receive a 50% refund of conference fees and all payments made toward room and meals, minus a $40 service charge. No refunds will be issued after September 2.
