“One in Christ: Visions of Unity”
For everyone committed to worship in the church – pastors, musicians, choir members, worship committee members, children and youth.
The Presbyterian Association of Musicians (PAM) sponsors two identical Worship and Music Conferences at Montreat Conference Center each summer. These conferences, guided by the principles of Reformed worship, provide opportunities for participants to experience worship and explore various ways to enrich the liturgical life of the local church. Jesus prayed that the church would be one. In 2011 we will explore the fullness of what it means to be Christian in a church and a world filled with diversity and division. One in Christ: Visions of Unity is the theme that will guide our time together. From Isaiah’s vision of the peaceable kingdom to John’s vision of the new Jerusalem, scripture is replete with visions of unity. Join us as we study, play, and worship together, striving to live out what it means to be one in Christ.
