An holistic retirement planning seminar for mid- to late-career clergy and lay Benefits Plan members and their spouses or fiancé/es.

Join The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for an holistic retirement planning seminar designed to help mid- to late-career Benefits Plan members explore steps they can take today to prepare for their best retirement tomorrow.

  • Maintain one’s optimal health now and later
  • Integrate pension, Social Security, and personal retirement savings
  • Understand Medicare and Medicare supplements
  • Explore options for play, learning, volunteering, and work after retirement

The seminar will be led by Education Specialist, Rodney A. Sewell, M.Div., C.F.P.®, and Retirement Planning Consultants, Rev. Dr. Alice Petersen & Rev. Dr. Bill Lowrey. Seating is limited to 30 participants.

‘Getting in Shape Fiscally’ – August 23, 2012

A financial planning and benefits coverage seminar for early to mid-career clergy and lay Benefit Plan members and their spouses and fiancé/es.

How “fiscally fit” are you?

Join The Board of Pensions of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.) for a financial planning education seminar designed to help early- to mid-career Benefits Plan members and their spouses or fiancé/es to get on the path to financial well-being.

  • Understand your income and Benefits Plan coverage and options
  • Discover practical debt reduction and savings tips
  • Begin a plan for retirement
  • Take advantage of investment opportunities

The seminar will be led by Education Specialist, Rodney A. Sewell, M.Div., C.F.P.®. Seating is limited to 30 participants.

Note: Attending this seminar fulfills one application requirement for the Board’s Seminary Debt Assistance Grant program. Seminary students are welcome to attend as well.

Register for “Getting in Shape Fiscally” – August 23
Montreat charges a per person fee of $12 which includes a “miscellaneous fee” of $10.00 to cover the cost of refreshment breaks, copies, and other related expenses, plus a $2 community services fee (if applicable) for public services provided by the Town and the fire district. If you are not reserving accommodations below, this fee will be billed to you separately by Montreat Conference Center. If you are reserving accommodations, this fee will be included in your comprehensive rate.

The Board of Pensions seminars are a Plan benefit, so there is no registration fee. Participants must be a plan member, the spouse of one, or a representative from a church, employing organization, or middle governing body.
