Accommodations for Individuals & Families

Lake Susan in Spring

Personal Sabbath Retreats provide respite from the busy world, and you make the rules. Your time here is unstructured and uncluttered with outside influences. Choose to replace your laptop, the cell phone, and the TV (only a limited number of rooms in historic Assembly Inn offer televisions or phones) with long walks beside tumbling streams, a good book in front of the fireplace, or a comfortable rocking chair on a porch overlooking Lake Susan and the mountains. Secluded from the outside world, a Personal Sabbath Retreat at Montreat gives you the time and place you need for rest, renewal, and spiritual reflection. You really can get away from it all.
