Each year, more than 40,000 people visit Montreat Conference Center to reunite with family and friends, attend conferences or church retreats, and to enjoy the breathtaking beauty of God's Creation. Montreat is located in the mountains of western North Carolina, and only a short drive from the Asheville airport.

If you're driving: Via I-40 in North Carolina, take Exit 64 to Black Mountain/Montreat. Turn north on Route 9, continue straight onto Montreat Road at the third traffic light and drive 2 miles to the Montreat Gate. From the gate, continue 1.5 miles to Lake Susan and Assembly Inn.
If you're flying: Asheville Regional Airport is approxomately 30 minutes away by automobile. Travel north on I-26 from the airport, take exit 31A onto I-40 East and follow directions above. Charlotte Douglas International Airport, is approxomately 2 hours from Montreat.
