Love Montreat? Looking to make a difference in the lives of thousands of people who come here? Not busy for the next eight to ten months? You could be.
Consider becoming a mission volunteer.
Who are these mission volunteers? They are amazing individuals who commit to a long-term (eight to ten months) opportunity to help the conference center’s daily operations. These volunteers work with full-time and part-time staff in different facets of the conference center’s ministry. From providing outrageous hospitality to guests, to working behind the scenes in the administrative, marketing, or programming offices, mission volunteers are able to get valuable experience while exploring a call to work in a church-related institution. You’ll get real-world work experience and have an opportunity to take a deeper dive into the Montreat community.
Whether you’re trying to discern what’s next for your life, between jobs, or are looking for ways to have a meaningful work experience, the Montreat Conference Center mission volunteer experience might be the right fit for you.
- Beginning date: After October 1, 2017
- Volunteer terms: Eight to ten months (volunteers may be able to apply for a summer staff position beginning in May)
- Please note: This is a volunteer position and is unpaid. Room, board, and a stipend for food is provided during your term as a volunteer.
