It is the high privilege of Montreat Conference Center to host the gathered community for worship during the summer months in Montreat. Each Sunday, people come to Anderson Auditorium as summer visitors, early-bird conferees, year-round residents, vacationers, Cottagers, and conference leadership. They come together from across the valley and across the country to worship God together in Montreat. We are fortunate to hear the Word proclaimed from some of our denomination’s most highly acclaimed preachers. The 2010 summer worship series includes the following line-up:

- June 13 – The Rev. Dr. James Forbes, Senior Pastor Emeritus, The Riverside Church, New York, NY
- June 20 – The Rev. Dr. Will Willimon, Bishop of the United Methodist Church; former dean of the chapel at Duke University
- June 27* – The Rev. Dr. Marcia Mount Shoop, Theologian in Residence, University Presbyterian Church, Chapel Hill, NC
- July 4 – The Rev. Dr. Albert G. “Pete” Peery, Jr. President, Montreat Conference Center
- July 11* – The Rev. Dr. John Kuykendall, President and Professor of Religion Emeritus, Davidson College, Davidson, NC
- July 18 – The Rev. Dr. John Buchanan, Pastor, Fourth Presbyterian Church, Chicago, IL; editor, Christian Century

- All Sunday worship services are held in Anderson Auditorium at 10:30 a.m.
- During morning worship, child care for children six months through completed kindergarten is available at the Updike Child Care Center on Texas Road.
- At 12:00 Noon, following worship, a lunch buffet is served at the Galax Dining Room in Assembly Inn, $12.95 for adults; $6.00 for children 5-11. See the latest issue of This Week in Montreat for lunch menu.
