Montreat Conference Center

Conference Scholarships

Montreat Conference Center is committed to making conference center programming as available as possible to all who wish to take part. Through our scholarship program, individuals may apply for financial assistance to cover a variety of expenses related to the conference center.

  • Montreat Conference Center’s General Scholarship Fund is available to anyone with financial need and, in most cases, covers program fees related to select conferences and retreats.
  • The Morgan Endowment for Montreat Youth Conferences is a permanent endowment that supports Montreat Youth Conferences by providing youth conference scholarships for those with financial need and funds for continuing development and promotion of the youth program at Montreat Conference Center. Scholarship covers, in most cases, program fee only.
  • The J. Randolph Taylor Fellows Program provides financial and lodging assistance to Pastors, Missionaries, Seminary students, and other church professionals who are seeking rest and renewal through programs and activities at Montreat Conference Center.

Help support the Morgan Endowment Scholarship Program:
The Morgan Foundation has made a $1 million challenge gift to support Montreat Conference Center’s Youth Conferences. This magnificent gift follows an earlier $250,000 challenge gift which, when matched, resulted in a one million dollar endowment. Now, by matching the current challenge, the Conference Center will have a $3 million endowment to support its outstanding program which benefits over 7,500 youth annually.  Download a Morgan Match Commitment Form to make your donation to the Morgan Endowment.
