Grounds Maintenance
Qualifications: Minimum age of 18; yard maintenance experience required; and ability to work alone and with others.
Responsibilities: Responsible for the appearance of all MRA owned lawns and landscaping; keep all sidewalks, porches, steps, and paths to all facilities free of debris and ice; keep lawn equipment in good working order and let Director or Supervisor know if repairs are needed; responsible for assigned vehicle and care of same and to alert Director or Supervisor of any repairs needed; to call to the attention of management any problems associated with disease in landscape; responsible for feeding water fowl; ability to work 40 hours per week; assist maintenance staff as time permits; perform other maintenance as required by the director or supervisor; and ability to perform heavy lifting up to 75 lbs.
Benefits: Montreat Conference Center provides housing, including utilities; a food stipend is available.
